Escape plan

Michael Scofield's original escape plan was that he and fellow inmate Fernando Sucre would to get out of their cell through the unscrewed sink and then further inside the walls. To the point where they had broken through the wall to the pipes that run beneath the prison. The other inmates in Michael's crew would join him and Sucre in the pipes where they would get through the guards locker room and then continue further and work their way up to the prison infirmary and into the doctor's quarters.

Here they would break out the window by the help of a rope of sheets and the lift. A cable hanging at the outside of the window to the prison walls was their way out of Fox River.

However when they have to abandom the break room and the pipe in the infirmary had been replaced Michael needs to change his escape plan. Instead of using the guards room they have to go through the psych ward to get to the infirmary.

[edit] Attempts

The first escape attempt was unsuccesfull as they got trapped below the infirmary because a pipe had been replaced.

The second escape attemp was succesfull altough Michael had to tell his plan to Sara to get her to open the door to the room that they were getting out of. Michael regrets that the escape was carried out in a way that he had not wanted it to be done, in Season 2.
