The group felt apart after Donald Self was the one to be chosen to be killed. Then Mahone did "choose" for Christina's side to save Lincoln and T-Bag worked for Krantz. It's ironic that Krantz was actually himself responsible for the end of the Company.
Lincoln both rejected Self and T-Bag, but both also rejected himself as leader from the group. Gretchen voted for Lincoln (probably because Self kidnapped her sister and daughter) and Mahone joined the club, but Lincoln was still the leader.
