Mariano saw the fight between Bellick and Octavio. He saw that Bellick won. After the fight he was present at the fight between Sammy and Bellick. After the escape from Michael, Alex, Whistler and McGrady, he listened to T-Bag's speech. Because of this, Sona got burned.

- Mariano was possibly killed by T-Bag off-screen during the fire at Sona, which was caused by T-Bag. (The Legend).
