The judge of Michael Scofield's trial remarks that it is unusual for an armed robbery to go with no contest. When Michael's lawyer, Veronica Donovan, tells the judge that Michael is confused, she suggests that he take her advice and reconsider. Michael replies that he already has thought about it. After a recess, the judge says that he will go to prison due to discharging a deadly weapon and honors his request to go to a prison near Illinois, which is Fox River State Penitentiary. She makes his sentence five years.
