Tracy McGrady, real name Luis Gallego, is a 16-year-old Panamanian inmate in Sona who is obsessed with American culture and basketball. He has been in Sona for three years. (3x2)

The reason of his imprisonment is about driving, as revealed by his father during visitations. (Visitation) He greets Michael warmly when Michael first arrived. (3x1) He later reveals the background of Whistler to Michael and Mahone, then helped Michael to build the explosive needed to clear the waterway. (3x2) He also provided Michael with information about telephones in Sona. (3x3) After losing a bet with Michael, he gave him the cross he is wearing, an item given by his father, to help Michael to shut down the electricity in Sona. (3x4)
In episode 6 of season 3, he gets questioned on the death of the French man who was killed.
